Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase, Citi, and J.P. Morgan also rank in the top 10 of the list.
Hakan Aran, CEO of Türkiye İş Bankası, said:
“On the 100th anniversary of Türkiye İş Bankası, it is very valuable to be ranked first in this list, which is ranked based on reputation and brand value. This shows that trust and innovation, which are the two main pillars of a strong banking brand, are among the strengths of our bank on the way to becoming the bank of the future.”
David Haigh, CEO of Brand Finance, also said:
“This year, local banks have increasingly overshadowed their larger competitors in terms of brand strength. Only in 11 of the top 50 countries has the total brand value decreased. In particular, banks such as Sber and VTB have faced a significant decline in their brand value due to sanctions.”
