Get ready for an exciting new adventure! Disney+ announced today at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour that the action-adventure fantasy series “Renegade Nell” will premiere all eight episodes on March 29, 2024, exclusively on the streaming platform.
Written and created by BAFTA-winner Sally Wainwright (“Happy Valley”) and directed by Ben Taylor (“Sex Education”), “Renegade Nell” follows Nell Jackson, a quick-witted and courageous young woman who finds herself falsely accused of murder. Forced to flee, she becomes the most notorious outlaw in 18th-century England. But her life takes a fantastical turn when she encounters a magical spirit named Billy Blind, who reveals a destiny far greater than she could have imagined.
