San Francisco, CA (January 15, 2024):<\/strong> Rain-soaked chaos reigned supreme at the second round of AMA Supercross in San Francisco, and while Team Honda<\/a> HRC navigated the treacherous conditions with grit and determination, the podium remained elusive. Jett and Hunter Lawrence weathered the storm to salvage ninth and 10th in the 450SX main event, while Jo Shimoda’s 250SX West run ended prematurely with a technical issue.<\/p>\n

The unforgiving mud turned the 450SX main event into a muddled wrestling match. Jett and Hunter Lawrence found themselves embroiled in the pack early, battling their way back from mid-field positions to secure hard-fought top-10 finishes. Jett’s ninth place keeps him within striking distance of the series lead, now seven points behind Chase Sexton. Meanwhile, Phoenix Honda’s Dylan Ferrandis shone bright in the muck, charging to a sixth-place finish.<\/p>\n

Shimoda’s 250SX West main event started brightly with a commanding fourth-place holeshot. However, fate intervened, a fall followed by a technical gremlin brought his race to a halt. On a brighter note, SmarTop\/MotoConcepts Honda’s Carson Mumford flirted with a podium finish before settling for a career-best fifth, while teammate Mitchell Oldenburg secured a top-10 result.<\/p>\n
